Growing Healthy Bodies and Kinder Hearts
I am always learning and open to learn from the people I meet, experiences given to me, and those learnt by friends and family. Of course even our youngest children can be our greatest teachers. They are particularly good at reflecting back what we may need nourishing too.
Whilst direct experience and personal storytelling is valuable it cannot possibly cover the vast mountains and valleys of knowledge a parent needs to raise a child today. Fortunately access to information is not a problem. In fact, it is quite the opposite. There is so much information it can be daunting as to where to start. Overwhelming. And even when you find everything that you need on a topic, how will you find it again? Keep everything organised?
This is why I wanted to start this blog. As a place to keep all my research, organise my thoughts, share them and get feedback. Going back to the old adage “it takes a village to raise a child”. This is where I will build my tribe.
My focus and attention shifts between the kids (growing kinder hearts), cooking (cookbook & Thermomix addict), the garden (growing as much as I can for the table) and lifestyle (random things). All this while listening to my many Spotify playlists depending on my various moods (see Resources for links).
I would love to hear your thoughts on any topic covered or that you think I could be interested in. Send me an email or leave a comment below.
Let kindness and good health prevail!
Come and join my tribe!
